- All the ginseng produced in the US comes from Wisconsin. They account for about 10% of the world’s production of it.
- Like a lot of Midwestern states, it’s named after a river, the Wisconsin River.
- From 1895 to 1967 margarine was prohibited in the state. I assume because they wanted to sell their own dairy products.
- Wisconsin was the 30th state to enter the union.
- It’s 20th in population and 23rd in area.
I’ve never made it to Wisconsin, but I’m a huge fan of all things dairy, so I’m sure I’ll find something to entertain myself while I’m there. What should I visit in Wisconsin?
