Minisodes

What are minisodes? They’re quick, 10-question trivia episodes that drop every so often to give you some bonus content. Think of these as more like a category in Jeopardy than a full episode of Dorky Geeky Nerdy. So, if you like quick trivia, this is for you.

You can listen to the show on Spotify (and subscribe there). Want some longer episodes? Check out our regular shows.

Never Won An Oscar

It’s our first little bit of quick trivia. Can you name the actor or actress that has never won an Academy Award (we’re not counting honorary Oscars or Lifetime Achievement Awards). Also, each of these performers has passed away. Good luck!

Words With All Five Vowels

Our second bit of quick trivia is a vocabulary episode. Can you name the word that contains all five vowels (A, E, I, O, and U)? Good luck and enjoy! We’ll have more word-based trivia like this in future minisodes, so stay tuned.

Which President Came Next?

More trivia and this time is Presidential Trivia. Play along with your kids and see how well they (and you do). Teachers, feel free to use this in your classroom for some extra credit. You can get more Presidential Trivia with our Quotable US Presidents episode.

One and Done – Single Season TV Show Trivia (Firefly, Freaks and Geeks, Studio 60)
byBrian Rollins

Welcome one and all to Season Eight of the podcast. This season, I’m going to try something a little different. Rather than one topic per episode, I’ll have one topic per round. They’ll still be loosely connected.
