In space, no one can hear your trivia questions. This week, we dive into the dark void with Alien Movie Trivia. That is, movies from the Alien film franchise (not just films with aliens in them).
The first movie from 1979, was probably my first horror film, albeit heavily edited for television. But still, the franchise has stuck with me (and audiences) for a long time now.
When you’re done with Alien Movie Trivia, please take a moment to peruse our Dorky Geeky Nerdy Shop. We’ve got T-shirts and more that look cool and help keep the engines running and the monsters fed. Thank you to everyone that have supported the show these past three years!

Hey crew, this is your host, Brian Rollins and I’ve got episode 156 of the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Trivia Podcast for you today. This week, we’re covering the Alien movies. Not just alien movies, but The Alien movies. That is, the original 1979 film, Alien, as well as the sequels, prequels, and spin-off movies.
Like all our other shows, it’s three rounds of ten questions each. If you want rules or scorecards, visit our website, DorkyGeekyNerdy.com. If you’ve baked up your own rules, please feel free to share them with us on Facebook, Twitter, or just drop us an email.
I think that covers the decontamination procedures, so let’s get started with the questions.
The Dorky Round
The Geeky Round
10. Charlize Theron played Meredith Vickers in Prometheus, but she was originally cast in what role?
The Nerdy Round
1. What actor felt the need to continuously apologize for his profanity during the filming of Aliens?
Everyone back aboard? No stowaways? Right? Right?!
OK, good. We’ll be back again next week with another show. This time, things will be much happier and lighter. Here’s your clue:
What 1987 film had the tagline, ‘The story of a man and a woman who lived happily ever after. Even though the courtship almost killed them.’?
I’ll see you back here next Wednesday.
This has been episode 156 of the Dorky Geeky Nerdy Trivia Podcast. The music has been by Jason Shaw at Audionautix.com. I’m your host, Brian Rollins. You can find me skulking about at TheVoicesInMyHead.com.
