It’s mini! You remember these? I’ve been bad about them and so in 2025, I hope to rectify the situation. I’m bringing back a classic format, Crossword Clues. This time, it’s the letter L.

For the uninitiated, here’s how it works. I’ll give you the number of letters and a clue, you just need to provide the word.

Got it? Then let’s go.

Words Starting with L Trivia Questions

  1. Three letters. A floral necklace common in polynesian cultures
    a. Lei
  2. Four letters: A feline with long limbs and a short tail.
    a. Lynx
  3. Five letters: When it’s spoken, it’s slander. In print it’s…what?
    a. Libel
  4. Six letters: The 11th letter of the Greek alphabet
    a. Lambda
  5. Seven letters: The opposite of windward
    a. Leeward
  6. Eight letters: A bawdy verse or a town in Ireland
    a. Limerick
  7. Nine letters: Tarzan would often be seen wearing one of these.
    a. Loincloth
  8. Ten letters: Where Dr. Frankenstein brought his creation to life
    a. Laboratory
  9. Eleven letters: What the Wolf Man was afflicted with
    a. Lycanthropy
  10. Twelve letters: A much more complicated way of saying maze-like
    a. Labyrinthine
