Mini #17 | Quiddith Trivia from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Posted on March 17, 2023June 27, 2025 by Brian Rollins

Madam Hooch has blown her whistle, so it’s time to get flying. This week, for our 17th mini episode, I’ve got Quidditch Trivia for you.

If you’re a big Harry Potter and Wizarding World fan, Dorky Geeky Nerdy has a number of episodes to scratch your magical trivia needs.

Episode Transcript/Quiz

Game on! It’s time for some Harry Potter Trivia. Specifically, Quidditch Trivia. We haven’t had a Harry Potter episode in quite some time, so here’s ten quick questions about the sport in the magical wizarding world.

Good luck!

  1. The game is over when which ball is caught?
    • The snitch
  2. How many goal hoops are located on a Quidditch pitch?
    • Six. Three on each side
  3. How many players are on each Quidditch team?
    • Seven
  4. Which position guards the goal hoops?
    • The Keeper
  5. What position does Harry Potter play in Quidditch?
    • The Seeker
  6. Which professional Quidditch team does Ron Weasley support?
    • The Chudley Cannons
  7. Who was the Quidditch captain for Gryffendor when Harry Potter joined the team?
    • Oliver Wood
  8. How many points is the Snitch worth?
    • 150 points
  9. What ball nets a team 10 points when sent through a hoop?
    • The Quaffle
  10. What are the only non-point scoring balls in Quidditch?
    • The Bludgers

And that’s it for Quidditch Trivia. I’ll probably revisit the Wizarding World with another episode sometime in the future, so stay tuned.
